Long Stay - Provides for a one year stay requiring you to step
out of the country every 90 days.
Education - student visa up to 10 months to study, to come
on a work study tour or observation tour , to participate in
projects or seminars, to attend a conference or training
course , to study as a foreign Buddhist monk (Category "ED").”
90 day - This visa allows for a 60 day stay with a 30 day
extension option to = 90 days. It requires application form from
a Thai consulate outside Thailand.

THE RULES CAN AND DO CHANGE OVERNIGHT!
1. you can not have more than 3 consecutive 30 day visas or the 90 day visas.
2. You can not have more than two consecutive reentry requests at any one Laos border
crossing.
3. the 3o day extention that goes with the 60 day visa making it an 90 day visa can renewed
well ahead of the must leave date without loss of days. This can be done at any immigration
office.
4. What applies in one Thai consulate does not necessarily apply in another Thai consulate!
